Biography

Born in San Diego, California, José Andrade has been playing music professionally since the age of 14 ranging from different genres like Mariachi, Jazz, and Rock mariachi Fusion. He’s no stranger to the stage, playing at different venues across the United States and beyond. 

His versatility has taken him from playing for people special intimate events like a birthday in a backyard to  events like the “National Festival of Culture” in Australia or the “National Encounter of Mariachi” in Guadalajara, Mexico.

Andrade has extensive experience teaching students ranging from ages 6 to 26  from complete beginners to the advance level; in the different subjects of guitar, bass, upright bass, piano, singing, mariachi instruments and music theory. 

Music is José’s ultimate inspiration, and the joy of sharing it with others is what keeps him inspired. Sharing his musical virtuosity with the public on a stage,  or teaching a young student how to express himself on his instrument of choice. This and many reasons have taken music to be his passion strong day by day.
